A two day peer review process was held in Mullingar in October 2018, which followed on from the writers’ symposium. The peer review is a crucial part of the quality assurance process.
Teachers and tutors from collaborating ETBs around Ireland came together to review and critique the written curriculum for the National Hairdressing Apprenticeship. In conjunction with this, our industry representatives at the CSG table were also peer reviewing the curriculum, in order to ensure that it is robust and meets the needs of industry and the apprentice.
A lot of valuable feedback was provided at this event, which will go back to the development team and the CSG for consideration and review.
