Apprenticeship Expo 2022

Apprenticeship Expo 2022 was officially launched by Dancing with the Stars winner, and former award-winning jockey Nina Carberry officially. The Expo has grown considerably in recent years, with over 80 exhibitors on the day and close to 3,000 attendees registered across different time slots.

The National Hairdressing Apprenticeship recognises the value in attending public-facing events like this. Coming at a time when staff shortages have hit the Hair and Beauty sector in Ireland, the apprenticeship expo offers prospective apprentices an opportunity to explore their options in the vocational field. There was strong interest in programmes across the field on the day, with information on traditional-entry and recognition of prior learning access to hairdressing being sought after.
